Bonnet Shores Beach Club Donates $12,050 to Rhode Island Community Food Bank

For Immediate Release

Narragansett, RI – [October 29, 2025] – The Bonnet Shores Beach Club Condominium Association continued its long-standing tradition of community giving with a $12,050 donation to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank following its annual end-of-season fundraiser.

Each September, on the final weekend of the beach season, members and owners of the Beach Club come together to support local families in need. This year’s event was organized by theManagement Team and led by General Manager Mark Mesrobian and Food & Beverage Director Jay Bourassa.

“Everyone at the Beach Club acknowledges that times are particularly difficult this year,” said Mesrobian. “Consequently, the call to donate was genuinely received by our owners and members.”

Association President Kevin Lynch added, “I am overwhelmed by the response which resulted in this year’s donation of $12,050. The BSBC owners and members have demonstrated their generosity at every year’s event, but especially so this year.”

The donation comes at a time when food insecurity is rising across Rhode Island, with many families feeling the effects of higher costs of living and the ongoing federal government shutdown, which has disrupted assistance programs and strained household budgets.

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank continues to serve as a critical resource for thousands of residents facing uncertainty about their next meal.

“The generosity of our community at Bonnet Shores is a reflection of what Rhode Islanders do best - - come together to help one another,” Mesrobian said. “We’re proud to play a small part in supporting those who need it most.”

The Bonnet Shores Beach Club has proudly supported the Rhode Island Community Food Bank for the last five years, helping to provide meals and resources to families across the state.
